as promised I caught up with Philo Brathwaite Philo what's that brother and for starters welcome to Kyla we're in Thailand blue crab the places where disc golf takes us you're back so the first question has to be what brings you back to Thailand huh that's kind of a loaded question man there's a lot of elements why had to come back you know there's a great crowd of people in about 20 countries represented this year which is a big part of our disc golf growth is getting more of the international contingency to show up to tournaments so that's the big part of it Nigel and his family you know put up a great tournament for us to come and hang out on this lovely you know piece of property and the hospitality is great I get to hang out with a couple my touring buddies as well and you know and it's kind of a working vacation as well get away from home for a little while get to get the tournament play kind of revved up before the season really gets going and oh no man all around it's just a really fun time I mean there's nothing like Thailand the freedom that you have here is on a different level yeah we're here on Koh Samui and this is my first time okay I see you and and Devon Owens and Nico and bars being and all of you guys why are you guys the only ones I mean clearly this is an amazing place for everything you just said but for some reason right now is this just your little hidden secret and now we're gonna blow this thing up gets much of a secret I just think it's probably you know a little off the radar for some people it's a long journey so it's definitely a long taxi to get here about thirty hours with the traveling and you're going forward in time two-thirds of a day yeah it's a lot to take on I don't know if people just can't afford to come it's not the most expensive trip but you know it cost about eight nine hundred bucks to get a flight over here and then you got you know lose your time and your food and all the stuff that you know could add up pretty quickly if...
