everyone this is Becca Kephart from the ladies of the chains disc golf podcast and in Genoa from team MVP are here to bring you commentary on the first round of the waco annual charity open we've got a future card with page Pierce the fan vote Rebecca Sarah hokum and Texas's and Lisa pages is a pretty challenging course and there was a lot of wind on the day so we're gonna see some interesting and fun golf got our sponsor from the front nine where is at age 64 all right so they're gonna start here on hole seven which will be the first hole of the round we've got OB on the right and a little bit on the sidewalk left this played pretty easy for most of the women today we only had one bogey and one double bogey so Rebecca gets a little caught up in the tree there which you'll see a lot of players do so got hook I'm taking the forehand route way over yeah I got lucky and hit the ball they're almost out of bounds but saved by the wall got page Pierce probably throwing a putter no that's a page for you and that's great shot so Rebecca with her approach shot oh that's perfect Sarah taking relief nice gentle approach Lisa I assume she'll probably run this there's danger she goes a little too hard but that'll be fine and page from the new I love that kneeling pad oh she went for it it's something I've actually tried to adopt it's the new input I think the lowering of altitude in relation to the basket Rebecca easy tap-in here just approach out of the group looks like everyone's walking away with a par after the first goal and this is our first hole of the round that features a different tee pad for the ladies and for the men so fpou played this 100 feet shorter again MPO that was a great job by Rebecca but a little bit of OB on the right if they you disc gets away from me but otherwise this is a pretty pretty safe shot to just air it out and go for the distance on it yep aired out while you still can women who played this hole very well we had average shots of just 0.06 over car so...
