hello everyone and welcome to the 2018 shelly sharp memorial the first P VGA a tear of the year in Scottsdale Arizona along with Paul Ulibarri Antony Barela Richard Thompson and Matt Bell we're catching up with them on full 13 as I made a masters debut it wasn't pretty out there so I'm glad to catch the last 1/3 of the round with our competitors for all three days so starting off as I said hole 13 a par 3 at 385 feet Richard Thompson the lefty putting it just within cutting range and Anthony Borella the young gun from the Phoenix area has no problem going out and around while Ulibarri 385 feet again no problem for him they're able to play the big wide hyzer and that checks up nicely on the Arizona dirt map now whoa a more direct route and we're making our way back towards the start here on hole 13 this is hole number one if you're out you're playing on any other day so this is the championship XL layout bell goes OB off his birdie putt and a little step putt by Julie is good and Richard Thompson I'm a little bit scared of the water that's directly behind the basket possibly a bee takes the birdie this is the opening day it's a Friday afternoon as I said I played in the morning and then grab the camera ran back out I'm going to do that for all three of these rounds as Belle is in these guys are just getting situated we'll send the scores for the first time the basics here so very competitive on the card this is a par four moving in at 624 feet I am just about as far away as they would want to land just to my right and you see a little bit of a indicator there that's a mandatory they need to go inside of that and that involves a pretty long throw there's OB to their left and OB to the right and they also need to make sure that they are to the left of that mandatory coming in and putting themselves in really good position as I'm standing now I'm gonna go ahead and go behind the basket Richard I think was in a hurry he's already thrown to within 20 feet of the pin and Bell...
