2018 PDGA Jr World Championships • Thursday Night Recap from the Emporia Zoo
The 2018 PDGA Jr World Championships presented by Dynamic Discs take center stage in Emporia Zoo, where Thursday afternoon action has transitioned to a fun-filled zoo experience for all participants. The event showcases more than just golf, highlighting the dynamic discs' commitment to creating engaging experiences for players and spectators alike. Jason and Michael share their inspiring story of how they became involved in the sport, including Jason's win of a six-grant contest through Eagle's Wings, a great organization that supports kids worldwide. This chance encounter with Eagle's Wings was a turning point in their journey to compete at the PDGA Jr World Championships. With a special thank you to Eagles Wings and Terry, the Scout guy, the duo is having an unforgettable time in Emporia, where they enjoy the zoo's attractions and warm hospitality amidst a temperature drop from 103 degrees.

welcome back everyone Thursday afternoon action on the golf course has now transitioned over to the Emporia Sioux all of the participants are welcome to come out here and enjoy a free zoo experience lots of animals and of course lots of things to learn along with some extracurriculars dynamic discs makes events about so much more than just the golf and this is a great example of that so let's head inside I'm gonna catch up with a few of our players see how things went on and off the course and see what's going on after that I think we're gonna find our way over to a roller rink for some more action because it doesn't stop when you're in Emporia this is the 2018 PDG a junior world championships presented by dynamic discs Jason and Michael here in Emporia for the Worlds there's a story how'd you guys get here well one of the reasons that we got here is Jason's obviously a big avid golfer and this is the biggest competition but one of the reasons how we got here is eagle's wings which is a great organization were involved with then we go to their tournaments and they had a grant contest this past year they awarded six grants to kids all over the world and Jason was lucky enough to be one of those winners and the way we found out that he won it was obviously broadcast live on on the disc golf guys show on smashbox TV and we were watchin the night they announced it and jason happened to be pretty sick that day and had a fever and was on the couch half alive and then when they announced the winners and we heard his name he definitely got happy and that kind of made him feel better it was a great moment we were excited and again we want to thank eagles wings they do an amazing work and we want to thank Terry that the Scout guy for supporting them and everything he does and we're just having a great time here in Emporia jennarose awesome story great to hear great to work with eagle's wings in support in any way we can and instead of 103 degree temperature there you just have 103 degree temperature here instead have a great week you guys thanks joining me now...
