The MVP Open was wild. What's up, disgenerates? It's the Discov World. I'm Jefferson alongside me, the one with all the holes in this game, Swiss cheese, breaking down everything you need to know from the MVP Open. We don't have any time to waste, so smack that subscribe button and let's get into the action. Maple Hill is the golden standard for a disc golf event thanks to Steve Dodge, who, if you don't know, is the certified Willy Wonka of our sport. You can point to the eight-hole section alone to prove they bring the atmosphere spectators are dying for. Although some might want to argue the lack of professionalism, especially when we have pros making comments like this every year. You guys are so loud. Are you kidding me? I mean, I had a I had a 25-footer on hole five today and hole eight went so crazy I had to reset and I still missed the putt. I'm like, you kidding me? I can't I can't I can't even reset with how loud you guys are out there. This course does the best job at providing opportunities for spectators to do just that. You got various bleachers across the course and places specifically for fans. Whole 14 is a perfect example. Personally, I think it's stupid to be mad at fans for cheering, unless maybe if it was for a Wasp. The spectator experience isn't the only thing making this venue unbelievable. You have the changes that seem to improve the course. Last season, we saw the addition of Chickmunk Gate and a new hole nine. This year there was a new pattern holes 10 and 17 that added new challenge keeping the course recognizable even through the changes. They also moved pin locations throughout the event making this place extra special. Dodge isn't afraid of criticism or ruffling feathers. We can see that by the wall added on hold too to stop players from throwing rollers. Every time the pros come to the property, it feels like there are additions that push the standard for how a tournament should be. One of the biggest things I advocate for is added amenities to courses to make them harder. And I'm always combed by disc golf isn't mini golf. Well, nowhere did anyone say we needed to add a windmill to go under, but Steve shows that...
