I'm Jefferson and alongside me is the one with all the holes in his game, Swiss Cheese. Breaking down everything you need to know from the Doubles Championship and all the problems that came with. Pretty safe to say this event was the most anticipated of the season, no matter how much the Worlds promotion will try to convince you. Nearly an entire year worth of build up with teams being revealed weekly. The largest stage the Doubles format would ever be displayed. Although, from the beginning questions arose. The biggest being would this count as an Elite Series win. And we'll get to that later, but before that, how about a Swiss rant? After each of these finishes in a weekend that still lived up to the hype despite that AB Macbeth dream match up missing. I understand completely the immediate reaction might be to use those results to try to justify a team competition. Or worse yet, are the ones split by brands. Now, after a successful showcase, I would just keep it simple by doing more of them. But with a schedule release supposedly incoming, is it even possible at this point? We'll just have to wait and see. But I would think most of you would agree with me. Or you guys can yell at me in the comment section if I'm wrong. There's something to build here. Or how about at the very least not shelving it on the heat pile like match play was for just a repeat run next year. Cuz each day's action created an exciting live viewing, one of the better on the season. Showcased more pros along with their personalities better. Strategy we could actually witness play out by teams having to select who would be driving off the tee in advance for the final day. With close action throughout that brought exhilarating highlights despite them not getting Ricky's name right in them. All things that could possibly sell a product here. The Preserve or the DGPT for that matter has to bring this event back, If not expand it on. And no, I didn't honk my nose when I said that out loud. Hopefully,...
