My biggest problem with disc golf is >> what makes disc golf so cool. You don't know what you're talking about. >> What's up degenerates? It's the disc golf world. I'm Jefferson and one thing's for sure. If Simon says it, I'm not arguing. Which I feel like is a pretty fair way to live life. Simon Lazad has been very outspoken on what he thinks will help the sport grow and possibly seem more attractive to non-disc golfers. There's been a common trend making courses longer, adding over 1,000 foot parfs every chance we get. Question is, who decided that's what we needed? >> I feel like one boring hiser on a whole is enough boring hisers. >> During the European disc golf festival, the conversation that dominated the community was the course being too easy for the pros. But this is what Simon had to say. >> I can't wait to listen to all the podcasts who said this major is the the one that doesn't matter. No one will remember it. You don't know what you're talking about. This was absolutely legendary and I want to be here forever. >> I'm on the same page as Simon here. Not that every course needs to be extremely scorable, but I think Simon's philosophy will take disc golf to that next level. >> I was talking to Simon about this course as well. And you know, he's like, you know, my cup of tea these days is a course that we can shoot 14 or 15 under on. Those are the courses that I have fun on. I don't I don't play Maple Hill Golds for fun. I go play the shorts and I have the time of my life and I I want some of those on the Pro Tour as well. I think variety is cool and we're talking about an entertainment product as well. I think that also adds to it. Think about the few times our sport gets real mainstream attention. Obviously aces which this style provides greater opportunities and then you have the legendary rounds of perfection. People think that if Discoff produces too many 18 unders that people will think it's too easy. I say let them think that. Maybe then they'll give it a chance to prove how simple throwing frisbes is, only to discover this is harder than anyone will ever...
