Winthrop Arena Course and Amenities Updates for 2023

I'm always excited in October I think there is additional excitement in the air with it being the 25th uh I remember feeling similar feelings on the 20th we're on just an entirely different level now it's a rare year in that the course has seen very few changes from the previous year we're kind of known for throwing the players a lot of curveballs uh often last minute kind of keep them guessing a little bit which makes for a more fair test for everyone this year though there really not many changes we've added uh the zuka lounge which has become the new tea of hole s uh so when players walk up that's our iconic bamboo hole now when players walk off the sixth green and approach that te they see an elevated te where for them I think it's going to be Electric in there with however many people pack out that Lounge but you the players literally walk up into the lounge CH and then walk and throw from the tea that sort of juts out from in front of it so the hole itself really didn't change but the the experience on the tea certainly did this year we're excited to announce the fresh and now which is an evening concert series here at winr Blake the big idea is that when the last putt drops each day a different live band will take the stage each night we're going to have great evenings uh here at win ble Lake even after the golf is is finished for the day
