the 2024 PDGA board of directors elections are just around the corner and one of the candidates running for your vote Terry CA from Finland PDGA number 7981 7 Terry welcome to uh this conversation I'm excited to introduce you to the voters uh why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself to get us started thank you well I'm from Finland uh you know the country where everyone is thrilled with disc golf and I have been into sports more than 10 years now and um in in my personal life I work as a lawyer in in a financial industry but I also a owner of the company that organizes for example this golf events and so I'm very into the sport uh in Finland great it's certainly a growing sport in Finland and it's already huge in that particular European country so thanks for what you're doing there uh let's start things off here with asking you essentially the why are you running uh for the PDGA board of directors in other words what priorities do you have what what causes do you want to Champion if you become part of the PDGA board of directors well of course my geographical location is one of my priorities I've seen the growth of the sports in Europe within 10 years so it's become also huge here and uh since uh disolf is from us and there is a lot of attention in us I think that it is also good to bring the European perspective uh into sports and uh well Finland is one country but there is of course other countries and we are quite independent so it's a bit different than in us where you have States and uh the systems are similar but in Europe there are differences and I want to bring that angle also to conversation and I think that uh it is important to uh find a good uh balanced solution how the sport can grow also in us but also in Europe and other continents like Asia Africa and and those uh different places so I want to bring U different perspectives to the board uh but also uh I've seen a lot of uh uh like a strategic work from bdga in recent years and since I work uh in in company in a big uh listed company...
