Ryan Monn is on fire at the 2024 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships in Grand Rapids. The 39-year-old MA1 player has led the pack for four rounds and finds himself 15 under par, an incredible achievement that leaves him just one win away from claiming the title. After a remarkable week of play, Monn is looking ahead to tomorrow's final round, where he'll face stiff competition with only 18 holes remaining. The youngster turned pro at 16 will stop at nothing to claim his first major victory. With a sizable lead, Monn must stay focused and keep his foot on the gas to secure the win. round four is in the books and I'm catching up with our leader in Ryan M Ryan a 39 today yep 15 under but more importantly the big number of the day is 17 yes sir 17 what does that mean to everybody out there uh finally done with 16 no more Juniors obviously I'm going to go go pro after this event but 15 under felt pretty good today uh highest rate around on my birthday feels special uh I would say so and I guess all I can think about is besides the incredible week you've been having rewind just one year ago think about where disc golf was what were you wishing for on your 16th birthday a year ago I think that was right after Junior worlds last year I was probably wishing to win Junior Worlds the next year or whatever I'm doing now of course but yeah probably wishing to win Junior worlds next year which I completed uh yeah and speaking of which now you're just 18 holes away from trying to claim the title here in Grand Rapids tomorrow final round you've got a sizable lead but what would you think about tonight as you put your down on the pillow before one more day uh I can't stop stop going I got to keep all focused on the next shot ahead of me uh no lead is safe obviously and I just got to keep my foot on the gas and keep going all right speaking of foot on the gas can you drive yet do you have a license sir he's got a license a license to drive and right now he's trying to pick up a win here at the am worlds in Grand Rapids we'll see what he can do tomorrow best of luck to you appreciate it thank you
