Hello. Hello. In today's episode of TD School, we'll be going over one of the most helpful tools you'll encounter while planning your event, the Disc Golf Scene. Let's jump in. While there are many online services that can help you manage the tournament registration process, the PDGA has partnered with the Disc Golf Scene, allowing for enhanced integration between their registration system and the event page on PDGA.com. A link to set up your events pre registration with Disc Golf Scene is included in your PDGA Scheduled Event Confirmation e-mail. With Disc Golf Scene, a majority of the pre-registration work can be automatically done for you whenever a new player signs up. Their information like name, division, PDGA number, rating, and location is automatically added to your event's listing on PDGA. com and all player registration fees will be deposited immediately into your verified PayPal account. The Disc Golf Scene also allows for Collected Payments for PDGA-sanctioned events in the United States. With Collected Payments, all player fees will be collected directly by Disc Golf Scene and paid to the TD with a check and lump sum at any point you may choose. If you wish to make use of the Collected Payments feature, you must wait until you receive your Sanctioned Event Confirmation e-mail to set up your Disc Golf Scene registration page. The Disc Golf Scene platform offers TDs a high degree of customization and flexibility. You'll be able to set up the registration window to open and close automatically at specific dates, create player caps to limit players in a class, division or pool, and set up wait lists for players who want to sign up after the registration cap has been met. And since Disc Golf Scene is integrated with the player data at PDGA.com, it can help you enforce ratings, age, and other class restrictions on divisions.
