i would say just do it you know i mean you only live once you know before life gets too tough and you get into the adult stage just come out here have fun do what you can don't put too much pressure on yourself just have fun like that's the whole reason you're playing in the tournament in the first place right like just love disc golf play disc golf to have fun number one have a good time number two don't have too high of expectations three here are some putters and mitts no expectations i mean i feel like that's like the easiest answer to come up with but yeah the thing i forgot to do in my first tournament was have fun and don't be hard on yourself because literally it's your first tournament and there's not a single person out there that's expecting you to shoot a certain score in any way the only person expecting you to do anything in any number is yourself have fun and yeah just stay calm breathe smile it will trick your brain into thinking that you're happy even if you're not quite so happy i had two discs no mini no pencil no bag so just being prepared no expectations you you if you have played a lot of disc golf or if you haven't played a lot of disc golf don't think about setting i need to shoot this i need to do that if you lower your expectations of i'm going to go trust myself i'm going to throw each shot with good intention i'm going to make good decisions all those things play into a really positive mindset that will that will carry you a long way don't have too many expectations a lot of people say have fun with it have fun with your first tournament the jitters are going to be there that's normal just just handle it the best way you can because it's just you know your first of many hopefully and jitters are normal try to get some practice in have a game plan i think you have to have the right mentality going into tournaments understanding that hey this is a competition i'm going in to compete and i think if you do that you'll have a good time regardless of how your outcome is it's okay to be...
