When it comes to this tournament, the world's coming here to Nokia and Tampere. Where did that road start? >> Well, that's a that's a long story, but to be short, approximately 12 years ago, this idea came up. >> The greatest worlds in history, >> the first world in Europe. For those of us who've been in the sport a long time, we've been waiting for this for decades. >> And actually, this is the moment it's starting to hit me. We're in Finland. Championship Sunday at the World. It's going to be easily the biggest crowd again in disc golf history. >> 18 holes left to play and we are going to have a new world champion this year. >> Next on the team. >> I think I'm on a good position to like try to catch him. I'm really just hoping to give myself a chance. That's my only goal out here. Just going to stay in my own lane, do my thing, throw the shots I know how. >> This will be a lifechanging moment for whomever wins it. >> History is going to be made today. For me, if I want to have a chance, I have to slam the padding different that will make you different. Everybody have two cutter. I have four putter. I'm the last person walk out from the patting green. Sorry ladies. >> To reach the goat status, you have to win world championships. There's no way around that. You have to get the titles here. >> And uh I think I'm ready. >> Finding his rhythm. I don't know how you catch him. >> I know. She'd love to go for this. >> Man, there's something about a world championship that is just that much more difficult. It's nothing to lose right here." >> No stress today. really played pretty much nerves free.
