yeah i knew it was going to take a lot of a lot of birdies out here there's a wooded course there's a lot of birdies to be had so i just want to get off to a hot start maybe put some pressure on the leaders and and then see what happens so i was just happy to get off to the hot start and finish strong and come in with a solid round i feel more comfortable in this course than any other course on tour it looks most like home and me and my buddy cameron colglazer always played good here so we always had confidence and we know we should play good here so it's one of our staple events i am proud of my performance that was my first time on any elite series lead card so i'm definitely not gonna be mad i did run into a couple spots and it looked like it was gonna get a little hairy but i was able to just get up and down and trust in my soft tactic for the little flick approaches and keeping them close i'm ready for another lead card i'm ready to get out there on the live broadcast and just keep doing it i'm going to try and play the course the same way today i was bogey free i would just like to get you know like any other player as many birdies as you can i'm feeling great um it was raining so it was nice to pull into first during that rain run i actually am a lot more positive when it's raining because you're gonna have a lot of errand shots and i'm expecting it this time so i guess the pro tier championships helps a little knowing that i can do it but it's anybody's game tomorrow you
