welcome back to Emporia Kansas for the PDGA coverage of the 2024 professional Masters Disc Golf World Championships presented by Dynamic Discs I'm Nathan Johnson joined in the booth today by Dan Brooks Wells how's it going Dan doing really good Nathan we have some awesome golfers today if you have not see the front N9 go watch the front 9 what are you doing we got a 90° day a little bit more than 90° day now the wind is cooperating today it is not blowing as hard as yesterday and we are seeing a little bit of better better scores because of it we have River at 6 under mcabe at 5 under FaZe at 5 under and mikako at three under yeah worth mentioning there is going to be a cut after this round the end of regulation per se before the semi-final and then the final 9 holes of this world championship so guys trying to make a move for positioning guys a little farther down leaderboard trying to make the cut and uh see what they can do out here absolutely we are going to start here at whole 10 this is a par three 368 ft there is an OB Island right in front of where they're teeing off and there's OB left and there's OB on the right side in that little parking lot so this is a challenging hole cuz the ceil you're throwing uphill and it the ceiling is is low as the disc is coming in this is a fantastic shot uh inside the circle putt right there uh the mistake you see a lot are people especially the right-and back hand will Heiser out and you can skip because the because the uh the hill kind of goes right to left and that carries the disc and skips it to the left too far and Ro kind of counteracts that by throwing this little anheiser shot yeah it doesn't get too much ground play there kind of checks up a bit short very similar spot to where Leo landed I like this forehand play from from faas kind of counteracts that Hillside and uh hopefully we'll get a little more ground play up towards the basket yeah I feel the same way as long as you can get under these trees usually ends up being a good one and...
