The 2024 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships FP40 R5F9 Semifinals provide an action-packed view of the highly competitive semifinal round in the FP40 division at the Boyce Bumgardner Memorial disc golf course at Swap Park in Emporia, Kansas. Jennifer Allen and Grant Zeler are among the top competitors in this major event, which is part of the PDGA Major series. As they tee off at 8:00 a.m., the focus shifts to navigating the challenging course with tall grass due to recent rainfall and strong winds that have made play difficult. Allen takes an aggressive approach, trying to shoot the gap between trees on hole one, but ultimately falls victim to a bad skip, leaving her struggling to save par. Meanwhile, own pitches up to the basket, utilizing ground play to minimize damage from the thick grass. The course's unique conditions and wind patterns add to the complexity of the game, making every shot a crucial test of skill and strategy for these top players.
