welcome to the 2024 Masters Disc Golf World Championships a PDGA major this year in Emporia Kansas a familiar destination for disc golf thanks to all of our presenting sponsors and our production Crews for helping us get this coverage out it's gr zelner alongside Jennifer Allen Jennifer you were out there today so you have a special perspective on what we're going to see today at swt Park yeah this is a course that probably most people are not used to seen played in Emporia it is in a little town of Cottonwood about 30 minutes west of Emporia today's forsome will include yourself along with own Scoggins Ellen whid boom and Stephanie Vincent and here we are at the first yeah here's hold number one it says 335 OB on the road OB also to the road to the right and wraps around the back pretty far um the distances today will be just a tad bit off this I would say probably plays closer to at least 350 and um other than that just a pretty normal course you can take a heer route you can go right at it all right we ready to go yeah all right first on the ke from Los Angeles California own Scoggin thank you fresh off the plane plane finishing up Beaver state two days before little different courses here that she's going to be discing down and hopefully enjoying a little more stressfree golf and as your teeing off Jen I'll just mention some flooding and things in the area things that happened last weekend but caused Creeks to continue to rise over the weekend that's what facilitated some of the changes that we'll see last minute changes that had to be made and um you players had to adjust to some holes that were maybe different from what you expected yeah this course they had set up to this all week because the back I would say at least seven um holes typically it's very difficult to get across the creek if it rains at all it's a very um low creek without a bridge Ellen with a great Hiser along the side just catches in The Tall Grass which is also extremely tall and the thickest grass ever because they could mow because of all the rain so lot of Tall Grass um but this course at...
