and welcome back everyone joining us now is kale Lisa kale your freshman season on the in the MP 40 division was last year and immediately you came out of the gates that fresh young face that you somehow keep having year after year yeah and you go into a playoff with Pho at the first major and then you come up just barely short at the World Championships reflect on both of those events for us from last year yeah thanks for bringing up some salty memories I appreciate that I'm trying to enjoy myself this week but uh no I'm just kidding I was just telling the people I'm traveling with how I lost both the majors last year by one stroke um yeah I just uh I have you know you know being an no for so long kind of you know thinking like someday maybe play an MP 40 and not thinking it's going to be like a cakewalk or anything but you know just uh being reminded and humbled right away that you know every tournament that you play is is going to be super hard to win everyone's so good um the Oregon one with Pho I remember him and I were just battling the whole time he was playing great um just like pho of old hitting huge putts in the wind just pretty much Unstoppable in the wind and I I remember being able to chase him down that final round tie it up with like two to play and then losing in one playoff hole just throwing a terrible shot not really giving myself a putt and just I just remember being in the woods just heartbroken um from that one and then you know to play um up at elevation and Flagstaff for the World Championships against Ro um kind of the same thing him and I were neck and- neck the whole time it's a long tournament um I I don't honestly think either of us were more than like two or three Strokes apart the whole time so we just kind of you know were comfortable in the battle and again came down to the wire um he had me by a couple Strokes with you know five or six to play and I just wasn't able to to get him back and so yeah to lose them...
