what is up disc golf fans we are at the 2024 PDGA amateur Disc Golf World Championships here in Grand Rapids Michigan proudly sponsored by Discraft and we are gatekeeper media presenting this coverage yeah I am very excited to be in Grand Rapids they have a lot of Great Courses out here and we have 402 total competitors for this event 288 coming from the ma1 division as we take a look Ryan man going for the am slam is kind of what they're calling it he's taken down junior worlds he's taken down US amateur and this is the big one this is amateur worlds a lot of competition and a lot of representation of some different countries there yeah I really love to see we really went all out with the international inclusion here uh we have the us we have Australia we have Canada and we have Germany in the mix yeah hole one this first hole is definitely a crush you want to get the full disc F out on this first shot ready4 te first from Simpsonville South Carolina Ryan and like I mentioned ryanm South Carolina and he has been tearing it up this year on these pdj majors and he is well in his way to be a very talented individual and competitor I think in the Pro scene yeah I mean at a young age already showing a lot of comp competitive nature to him and we are dealing with a lot of wind here it was quite a wet morning to say the least little bit of a delay and then as the storm is rolling out it is leaving the wind behind we got Blake Houston up here he's no stranger we've had the pleasure of uh working with him over the years from Western Australia Heath Ridge to be exact it's got a left lot of left carry there yeah a lot of distance too though almost been high Justin PL the Lefty on the card excited to see that as a fellow Lefty hailing from BC Canada and he's only played in 10 events and six of them are wins which is pretty cool to see he's been working his way up in the amateur ranks I would say with a couple ma2 and ma1 wins Dar Germany christianer and here we have Christian pker hailing from...
