welcome friends to the 2024 pdj amateur disl World Championships here in Grand Rapids Michigan this is the big one here for these amateurs another PDGA major sponsored here by disc craft and we are gatekeeper media Chris and Derek in the booth back n how did that front nine go for you there bud I think we saw a lot of gray I think we saw a little bit of uh some shine to the rain we had in the morning uh with a couple green splots here for Blake Justin Ryan and Christian with the one but a lot of gray only blemish was with Justin we are at Earl Brewer Park for this first round we'll be playing here on the final round as well this course little more teeth on this back N I feel like and also some par fours this is our first one whole 10 par 4 605 ft drone is from the shorter Tad so it is pushed to the left a little bit kind of brings that road into play a little more uh I feel like the righties though might push it really far out to the right and traditionally we've been seeing as people are teeing off kind of staying within the confines of the tbox but obviously with the longer distance we're gonna see a longer runup Blake unfortunately turning his over as we see Justin the Lefty hanging out over the OB all the way getting himself almost perfectly in position here for his approach that is such a good shot but so scary as a fellow Lefty uh just hanging over OB that whole time if you get a weird wind bounce or something catches the edge or so that's kind of more traditional what we want to see here as Blake went all the way to the tree line basically we'll see if he can get a birdie just trying to player percentages and Do Not Fade Out OB is so I left this in this is to show just how far Blake got so he's right here on the edge we're going to start kind of zooming out just to get a read of truly how much of a crush that was yeah I mean that is the mouth to the gap on the other hole going for a patent pending here yeah he...
