welcome to round two of the 2024 PDGA amateur Disc Golf World Championships here in Grand Rapids Michigan this is our uh amateur PDGA major of the year and filmed here for the fa1 card by the ace run Pro I am Brook Johnson and I'm Ashley picket we're out here at Grand Isle Rotary Park and it is a link style course uh used to be I guess a golf course that they turned into a disc golf course lots of wet land out here uh wide open holes with some very punishing OB we have our lead card today Virginia poking horn at -5 Alex alul at -3 Kylie cohut at -2 and Isabella Parker at1 really excited to watch this car today hole one is a 300 23t car 3 OB left Mando on the right kind of a low ceiling um really honestly tricky kind of first shot for our ladies it's pretty far um so we'll see place kind of well forehand backhand either one just make sure you miss those trees in the middle and don't go out of bounds to give yourself a pot yeah you want to stay away from those trees if you get a kick watch a couple of them welcome to day two of the 2024 amateur Disc Golf World Championships presented by Discraft of PDGA major teeing off first for our 141 lead card from o Fallen Missouri Virginia pking Horn Virginia lining up the turnover backhand here trying to go right at it and flip that over over right at the basket beautiful line pretty Shake great shot that is her bread and butter right there that's her shot second from St Louis Missouri Alex I'm a proud commentator right here seeing a fellow St Louis on the lead car Alex lining up beforehand she's playing the safe Gap hits hits the tree there on the left side but gets a nice kick doesn't go out of bounds she's in the Fairway should be okay to have a good up shot might have some white shoes Kylie looks like she's lining up the turnover backhand line as well good hit that's a beautiful shot great shot and rounding out our lead card from perin Texas Isabella Parker and Kylie looks like she's got about a 20 foot uphill putt for a birdie should be easy for her...
