The 2024 College Disc Golf National Championships are underway at the beautiful Canon Riverbend course in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The event is a PDGA major and features teams from Liberty University and Emporia State. Felix and Dylan bring their expertise to the booth, providing analysis of the ongoing battle between these two top contenders. hello everyone once again welcome back to the 2024 College disc golf national championships presented by Innova Champion disc this is a PDGA major we are back here in beautiful Rock Hill South Carolina back at the Canon Riverbend course ACM Productions bringing you this coverage here for the PDGA in the booth once again you have Felix and Dylan Dylan we've seen some uh pulling away a bit from Liberty so far in the front nine but still a bit of a tight battle yeah that's right only let's see three Strokes nothing insurmountable and got to remember we still have a day of golf to play yeah Emporia stay keeping it clean no Bogies so far on the round hole 10 par three 303 ft you got a couple options here you can take this inside Gap with a maybe a flex back hand I don't see many people won't see many people taking that this main one will be the left outside you can take a backhand and push in here with a flex or if you can push something straighter with a forehand and come in around this left side green you'll be good to go from there little drop off on the back and once again a protected green you want to land somewhere to try and not get an obstructed putt Julia D Martino starting things off here for team Liberty University trying to go with the backhand option we've seen Maggie be pretty forehand proficient throughout the two rounds we've that we've had our on coverage yeah really working that heat on the forehand and backhand must be a staple in her bag something she's really confident with Maya Ringold opting for the backhand turnover line a little bit low out of the hand maybe a little too flippy as well that combination didn't work out well there a little cut roll but looked to stay in the middle in the Fairway turn some more that's a good tree kick just to keep your disc we've seen a couple really good kicks so far in this round trees are friendly out here huh I just Jin somebody maybe this is only my first week in the booth I'm not trying to announcers Jinx anybody yet good shot there got a favorable result yeah that's really the shot shape you want and if there...
