welcome to Rock Hill South Carolina for the 2024 College disc golf National Championship presented by Inova this is the second PDGA major of the Year we're super excited to see how it goes I'm Nathan Johnson joined in the booth today by Nick Hansen how's it going Nick it's going great um uh magnificent property we're at you know this is a property like none other the fact that we're able to you know have so many different layouts on this course it's just it's phenomenal taking a look at our card though here today you know we kind of struggle on that front nine there with the wind and just the you know just how hard this course is we saw that it's hard to get birdies taking a look at our leaderboard though um James at the top there coming in with a three down already on the day that's going to be a pretty good score I would say and hard to beat um so let's see if some of our players here can pick it up on the back nine and let's get right into it with hold 10 413 ft downhill OB Hazard on that left side so you got to keep the disc to the right and you know if you want to putt it's pretty tricky and you really got to flirt with that OB yeah really tough demanding hole we might see some big four four hands out of these guys we're seeing the backand here from Justin comes up a bit short but that is inbounds we saw a lot of layups on the longer Circle 2 putts in the front nine just because of this super tricky and blustery wind so we'll see I assume that will continue here so these guys got to keep the disc inbounds if they want to score on this back another one there close to that OB line but if you're on the sidewalk you're safe so first two players are safe and looking at birdies oh this one needs to get down this is that common mistake you see on this hole if you leave the backand too high it just is going to drift all the way down into that Hazard leaving that long uphill par putt coming up onto the elevated basket that putt plays like a 80 footer probably...
