foreign to the 2023 U.S women's disc golf championships we are at the Well Springs disc golf course this is in the Cedar Rock complex in Burlington North Carolina I'm Jennifer Allen joined by Pavo stubstad of Central Coast disc golf excited to be here again looks like we're going to have some rain this round yeah rain some wind the girls hopefully will be protected from a lot of the wind in the trees today this is the tightly wooded short course on this complex that has three different disc golf courses on it look at our top 10 going into this third round we've got Addison Woodard and Brooke Johnson tied for the lead at 11 under par with lead card newcomer Kylie kohut on lead card Two Strokes behind at nine down and Virginia poking horn made it back onto lead card here as well we're starting off hole number one this is a par 3 235 foot uphill shot navigating your throws through these very tightly lined Fairways basket sitting nice and pretty right there between those two Guardian trees foreign having to deal with several different elements during this event a lot of wind yesterday a lot of rain today Addison has a lot of power so I'm excited to see if she will find the touch on this shorter distance course nice anhyzer release well a little bit low it's a lot more uphill than it looks this hole probably plays 290 or so it's Brave to do that with a wet disc in the rain this is her routine she goes through and it's worked every time I've seen it so far let's see I might a jinster but she is right in the middle so that will give her a good line to purge the basket it is one of the most unique pre-shot routines I've ever seen but hey that's the beautiful thing about disc golf is there's no right or wrong way to do a pre-shot routine it's whatever works for you next up Kylie kohut a little bit right can it sneak through finding a gap along the right side skating are just outside Circle one Virginia has a lot of power and she really struggled on this course the very first round trying to dial it down today let's see if she is successful that turns it's going...
