foreign to the 2023 U.S women's disc golf championships this is round three back nine on our fa1 leader card this coverage is brought to you by Central Coast disc golf I'm Jennifer Allen and I'm Pavo stubstad of Central Coast disc golf and I was tcam operator throughout this event we are back on the Well Springs tightly wooded shorter course there's three courses on this complex which is absolutely incredible let's get back to the action on hole number 10. taking a look at our scores from the front nine here we had Virginia poking horn shooting a fantastic front nine at five under par putting her at 13 down overall starting the round in fourth place but now finds herself tied for the lead with Allison Woodard who is also at 13 under par the other two players not far behind Holton has R3 180 foot shot we are going to navigate through so many big and very small Guardian trees a few small trees that are protecting the basket tucked over here on the left side so coming in in front of the basket is going to leave that slightly more open approach you can see the basket finally off one of these tees so that's nice beautiful yeah Addison putting it just inside 20 feet oh a little bit of a grip lock there who pulls it but hopefully it found its way somewhere up to the basket she really powered through this course on day one but today she has cleaned it up I look forward to hopefully seeing her continue that on the back nine this is Kylie yeah she hit the line beautifully but just looks like wrong disc selection there again going with these faster speed discs possibly and that was way too stable for this hole and Virginia is actually kicked right deep into the rough uh and it was fortunate for her to even get back to the Fairway there I think it was it was tricky she didn't have much so unless she hits this putt this is going to be her first bogey of the day oh I really tried to save it great bed all three of the other players with birdie looks not a bad attempt from Brook there and just really didn't have the angle through those trees to get over towards the basket...
