2023 U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship | FA1 R2F9 | Trauscht, Johnson, Woodard, Minnick
The 2023 U.S. Women's Disc Golf Championship brings together four talented players at Cedar Rock Park for a four-round major competition. The FA1 R2F9 round is underway, featuring top-ranked Alicia Leading and Brooke Johnson, as well as newcomers Addison Woodard and Rebecca Minnick. The course presents a unique contrast to the polar opposite terrain of yesterday's stage, with a 275-foot par three set amidst trees and a wide open fairway. Windy conditions, gusting up to 25 mph, add an extra layer of challenge for the players. Addison Woodard's form is consistent, but her drive is affected by the strong winds. The competition is fierce, with the top 10 leaderboard showing a narrow margin between Leading and Minnick.

welcome everybody to the 2023 US Women's disc golf championships we are at Cedar Rock Park and today we are playing the Cedar Rock course this is the fa1 round two front n coverage brought to you by Central Coast I'm Jennifer Allen alongside Pavo upstead with Central Coast disc golf I was te cam operator for this round so I might have a little bit of inside knowledge but I'll try to keep the spoilers to a minimum or zero for you guys following four players here two of them are the same players we saw yesterday on our feature card along with two new players we'll see them all introduced here in a moment looking at our top 10 leaderboard here we've got Alicia Leading The Way by one stroke over Brooke and then our two new players today are Addison Woodard and Rebecca Minik both at six under a tight race to start round one this is a four round major brought to you by the PDGA here we are hole number one this is 275 ft par three and the basket sets right behind the these couple trees here other than that we have a wide open Fairway very different from yesterday pretty much the polar opposite of yesterday's course but to add an interesting element today was extremely windy I would say 10 to 15 mph consistently with 20 to 25 mph gests Florida first on the team Alicia TR so looks like a right to left you can see the flags there that's the 18th basket to her right Alicia is sponsored by MVP and that is let out just a little ear Jersy early High ring off on the left side of the Fairway team second Brook Johnson we saw Brooke hit a couple highlight putts yesterday let's see if we can see some more today her pre-shot routine is something else I would have dropped the frisbee by now but a beautiful Flex Shot that's going to Heiser in right at the basket beautiful shot from Brook there only about 12 to 15 ft will be Addison wood going with the big Heiser again a little too much under plate of the disc exposed with that wind pushing it to the left side of the basket yeah with that right to left cross to keep it more level if you want to...
