foreign welcome everyone to Championship Sunday here at the 2023 United States amateur disc golf championships presented by Discraft you're alongside Papa wolf himself Brian Frawley couldn't be more excited to see the conclusion to this event today Brian it doesn't look like it's looked the rest of the week here it's uh it's a little colder a little Rainier yeah welcome to Michigan and you know you never know what you're going to get from weather-wise and we definitely uh woke up with about a 20 degree uh temperature differential and right now four to five more miles an hour we'll see it might pick up a little bit more a lot of umbrellas out on the course right now they don't necessarily need them right now but just in case we got a lot out there well it's 147 players in the field this week and I think about 146 of them might be happy to see a change because one player has been kind of rolling away with this tournament yeah Ryan Ryan's been a pleasure to watch she's got a smile on his face she's got that competitive eyes though you can tell that he's you know focused and ready to rock and roll for today and this whole weekend only 15 years old and during round one he said an all-time U.S adg record with a 1059 rated rounds uh one for the record books yesterday wasn't quite the scorcher but still he extended his lead played some great golf let's take a look at some highlights from Ryan's round two excellent getting started here on hole three 915 feet I thought we were looking at highlights here but this this is way offline he is probably 200 feet off the Fairway on this shot yeah D glow that's OB but here I am Nance he's got a little big window for a really long approach it shows what a big arm can do out here because he recovers nicely goes full send on the approach we're looking at hole seven here 667 another downhill and on this one we really see the versatility of this young player he goes backhand off the tee just a great drive there and now he's going to have a technical little forehand turnover a little soft turnover approach shot here and look at the how it settles he's...
