foreign TGI Friday day number two has started at the 2023 PDGA Tim salinski U.S Masters disc golf championships Grand Zellner and Hayden Henry were at Dexter Park where day number two action features the fp40 the MP40 and the MP 50 groupings they are attacking this heavily wooded course Hayden and we've already seen some pretty incredible shots just here on the opening couple of holes oh for sure and this is a player favorite course Dexter this is what they always wanted to come play this this course beautiful setting the Lakes over there mountains there's a cloud beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest it is warm today probably a lot warmer today than it was yesterday rain that was in the forecast for the weekend looks like the chances of that are slim to none now so it looks like we're going to have great conditions the wind is up just a little bit here in Dexter like it was yesterday out at Circle bar so players dealing with lots of challenges is today and later on today there's going to be a really great round of disc golf being played by our lead groups yeah we're here with over a record 400 players a record payout which is posted on the PDGA event page just just incredible to see you know an all-female tournament director staff we'll talk to Kelly McMoRan here in a little bit and just you know things are rocking and rolling first PGA major in Eugene area since 2014. day two action starting actually has already started continuing throughout the day today but before we get too deep into that let's check out what happened on day number one out at Circle bar the golf club just south of here let's see what happened in the fp40 division first Jennifer Allen early in her round the big Highs are on the 340 foot hole number five feet or so for the birdie and Jen cashes that in later on in the round using that power to her advantage on a whole 13. routine approach upcoming and then practically a drop in for yet another birdie on Jen's card Jen out in front buy one just a single blemish there on the card got an OB stroke there on her back nine really lighting up that long track at Circle bar on Scoggins...
