foreign Flagstaff Arizona for continuing coverage of the 2023 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships a PDGA major featuring nearly 900 players across many divisions today we're with the MP40 division I'm Grant Zellner and I am with the philosopher of disc golf Philo brathway Philo we head to Thorpe Park for day two action thank you so much Mr Grant Zellner yes sir Thor very classic Flagstaff Arizona disc golf course I'm sure probably one of the more played in the area so much fun very similar to what you saw in Little America as far as kind of a wooded perky kind of vibe you know it's it's pretty fun man it's a lot of fun shot shaping out there straight into hole number one a 600 foot Par Four pretty flat in this instance a lot of things on the ground too preventing say a roller if somebody wanted to go that route and where was Steve Rico one of socal's finest Steve Rico does well not to catch any early trees maybe a little off to the right on this one what a treat we get to watch Michael Johansen you are telling me it's been a long time since we've seen Michael Joe on film at least my perspective don't see much on the disc golf pro tour anymore classic disc golfer Kayla visca now Mr Smooth Hyser to flip there catching a nice run out nice Glide and finally Dave feldberg testing that left side takes a lot of trust to throw a swing like that out there Grant Michael Johansen with the Precision upshot yeah that's one of those things Michael Joe's known for especially making puts from about that range right there shallow Circle too kale trying to come in the side door not a bad job there a little long a long little wide oh there it is a little long I've got circles Edge Steve Rico second play don't think he meant to go that wide and feldy basic little hyzer approach there from felberg no issue well inside Circle one I will say Philo it looks like the rough here at Thorpe might be just a little bit more penalizing than at Little America from the looks of things early yeah that's for sure these bushes are a bit bigger a little taller it's on this rough little trees...
