thank you getting our kicks just off of Route 66 in Flagstaff Arizona it's the 2023 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships I'm Grant Zellner alongside Terry Miller coming to you live today from Little America Resort where final rounds are taking place that is the semi-final rounds before of course the final nine they are on the courses right now got an early start which was a big deal this morning because we are facing record heat today yeah I was thinking everything turns up a notch today here on Championship Saturday not only figuratively with regards to the scoring what the players are going to be doing but also probably the hottest temperatures that we'll see all week we're going to be just a few degrees shy of a hundred just a few degrees shrive 100 and at 7 000 feet the sun intense but we do have a little bit of a breeze today it started earlier in the day than it has so far this week so players dealing with windy conditions nearly 900 players playing right now vying for a chance to be part of the final foursome in each of those divisions those rounds will go off just after noon today but we need to let you know exactly how we got here to Saturday it's the end of a marathon players now out there four days worth of body aches and soreness and sunburns and all of those kinds of things but they are weathering this storm with a lot of class and showing that age is just a number well and really we're here for the worlds I love the idea that it is that marathon it's that battle it's not just getting hot for an uh for a front nine or a back nine or maybe having one course that you favor over another all competitors playing at least two different courses throughout the week and then when you make it to that final nine how are you going to play under that pressure knowing that you're just a few holes away from possibly being crowned world champion it just again turns out everything up an extra Notch Legends in the field this week we want to show you some of those Legends as we kick off this Saturday's live show the mp70 division these are highlights from round three Terry...
