The 2023 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships powered by Paragon have reached their climax as Brooke Johnson and Ashley Pickett present the back nine of round three for the FA1 card at Sunset Hills course. Due to weather delays and smoke, this is the first time the lead car has played together in its entirety. The field features Hannah Ahmet, Kate Lengel, Amber Douthat, Lexi Jones, and Marx, all competing for top honors. At Sunset Hills, players face unique challenges such as a 301-foot Par 3 with a hazard brush pile on one side and dense trees and bushes on the other. foreign welcome back to the 2023 PDGA amateur Disc Golf World Championships powered by Paragon we are here with the back nine of round three for our fa1 card at the beautiful Sunset Hills course I'm Brooke Johnson and I'm Ashley Pickett uh this is the first time that our lead car has actually gotten the chance to play together um due to the weather and the smoke delays we were not able to shuffle any of the cards until heading into round three so this is a true lead car that we're seeing here today it's not just a feature card we've got Hannah Ahmet even par heading into the back nine here at sunset Kate at 13 Amber at nine and Lexi at I don't remember plus ten ten there we go I can't read goodness we've had a long week and a lot going on I think we had weather delays every single day all these crazy geese yeah lots of yeast I'll just show up randomly on the Green also saw a big groundhog yes lots of those out there those are more friendly to see though we are headed over to Hole 10 it is a 301 foot Par 3 we have a hazard brush pile here on the left we've also got that maintenance shut on the right you can Our Ladies can really get to this pin but you kind of got to challenge those trees and bushes if you're going backhand yeah this hole was really created for a flexi forehand shot she just burns that out you really need to get it up on the left side there and Let It Fade back towards the PIN Lexi choosing to just tack it straight on smash of a hit and some good ground play yeah looks like she's got a circle one putt there let's see if Hannah can throw this Flex forehand a good shot from Hannah fantastic ground play see if she decides to run that putt for a for a birdie there hate with the forehand as well and she's up there it really does play a lot more uphill than it kind of looks I think from the tea originally yeah definitely good around for Amber she has a pot from there it's an easy approach shot here from Kate it is a pretty approachable green the only...
