2023 PDGA Amateur and Jr Worlds | FA1 R1B9 Feature Card | Vanderdriendt, Hatcher, Whitmore, Buitrago

Watch the back nine of Round 1 at the 2023 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships in Northwoods Blue. Hosts Ashley Pickett and Brooke Johnson guide viewers through the FA1 division, featuring top competitors Brianna Vanderdriendt, Kim Hatcher, Amy Whitmore, and Maria Buitrago. As the ladies take on hole 10, a challenging 261-foot Par 3 with low ceilings and a solid headwind, they must navigate their shots to avoid dropping short. Chem makes a great opening shot with a backhand, while Ashley takes aim with a precise forehand, aiming for Circle 2. Bree looks to outdo Amy's score with her own forehand throw, trying to get closer to the pin. The hole also requires strategic play, as Maria tries a backhand approach that loses some distance. The commentary highlights the importance of positioning and accuracy on this tricky Par 3, where players can easily fall short if they don't stay in the fairway.
