welcome to coverage of the 2022 pdga united states women's disc golf championships from madison wisconsin i'm grant zellner along with jennifer allen this tournament is sponsored by innova champion disc and gatekeeper media thanks to gatekeeper for those graphics by the way by the way make sure you're liking and following both jennifer and myself at the pdga we have round two scores virginia is leading by two strokes over emily and alexis and cece are going to join us in this group as well i'm cece valbrecht pdj number 165652 feeling good we're excited we love high stand so that's my home course i'm just feeling pretty confident going in i think it's going to be a lot more scorable than elver for our division um so i think you're going to see some hot squares out there and some big putts oh i'm pumped i think the whole madison disc golf community is just pumped the hype's been real the past couple weeks getting the courses ready getting volunteers ready we're really excited to have the us women's national championship here it's just an amazing feeling even during the practice days everyone's so friendly everyone's saying hi to each other where are you from it's really just feels like a big community and everyone everyone wants to know each other and that's that's the fun part about it i'm virginia pulkenhorn and my phd number is 76009. i joined pj in 2015 and i was playing a few years before that so eight nine years is great it's a whole new experience seeing so many women on the field seeing people just enjoy themselves out on the course it is just eye-opening and refreshing i think it's just going to keep growing with how big the sport is becoming there's more women only tournaments there's more juniors it's just overall growing and becoming such a family oriented or just on your own sport my name is alexis kerman pdga number 142354 i'm just excited to be out here i'm excited to have kept a lead card spot in this big field here in madison wisconsin so i'm just really pumped for it and to play with emily and cc in virginia so i'm really excited that's why i play i just love competition and i love pushing myself to my own personal boundaries and so it's it's...
