now foreign foreign so welcome to the final round the last 18 holes of the 2022 united states women's disc golf championships from madison wisconsin it's grant zellner and jennifer allen this is going to be really fun this is the same group of women at the same course to battle it out for their first major championship win so i don't know about you but i'm very excited to get going here it was very cool getting to watch these young ladies tear up this heist and park course in round three and now you see right there your leaderboard emily yale leads the way in our final foursome along with alexis kerman jennifer look at these pdga numbers i know i've been watching this young lady play for quite a while in the junior division it's really nice to see virginia step up to fa1 and cece volbrecht she is the local girl here in the final foursome yeah we're going to start it off here on hole number one this is a par 3 225 feet uphill we were estimating this is gonna play more like 240. it has a little bit of stuff there on the right side um the wind has been changing directions all week long it was a little bit lighter this last day of competition yeah it really has been swirling all week and it often has been just enough to be in your head for advanced women first on the t emily yo and here's emily yale who was on the lead card of course in the last round and played her way into the lead by the close of round number three yeah a lot of gettable holes out here we'll see how they handle the pressure of the last day the first round you know they acted like the cameras weren't there i don't know if they've played under much media coverage but they handled the pressure very well so pressure of a championship on the line we'll see how they do that first drive looks to have been pulled a little bit to the right got caught up the holes are short enough if you find some trouble you can typically save par um so far drives don't look quite as clean as day one a little bit more nerves off that first tee maybe a little bit...
