Notable competitors include Andrew, Gary, and Peyton, who take turns showcasing their skills on the challenging course. The video features insights into hole 10, a 650-foot par-4 with a steep climb to the basket, now located higher up the hill due to recent design changes. hello everyone and welcome back to the 2022 united states amateur disc golf championships pdga major taking place at the famed toboggan course brought to us by disc craft terry miller the disc golf guy thanks to graphics and a little help from gatekeeper media along with the pdga media i'm here with wes and wes we just watched the front nine we saw some sweet action going down out there man a difficult course for these competitors we see andrew sits at plus seven gary at three tim at three and peyton leading the pack here at one over and to say you're one over through nine believe it or not is actually not a bad score we see the hottest scores sitting only a few better than that at three four under so yeah we're gonna see some of the new holes at the toboggan here starting out with hole 10 this is a 650 foot par-4 now the basket used to be right on this landing here it has been pushed further up this hill steeper more of a climb and this basket is really tucked well up there some astromark cowbell i asked for more hills give me more hills to climb i love it here we're watching peyton and he put some heat on that and unfortunately that tree slowed it down in a hurry yeah i thought an interesting note on this hole was that a good drive for the previous hole will still be a good drive for this hole you're still climbing up the hill there we see andrew not quite get up there gary puts this one up towards the flat you really want to be a little bit more left on this hole as well to kind of open up that approach shot to the basket if you get pinched on the right side by that tree kind of that patent hit there it really limits what you have to approach this basket and that certainly will work this new design here on hole 10 now is playing as the second most difficult hole on the entire course averaging 0.55 above par during round one and you can see having to deal with throwing up hill i talked about that during the front nine but throwing up hill and a low ceiling that's uh that's a tough combo yeah very...
