my name is chase roberts i'm the tournament director for the 2022 pdga tim zielinski united states masters championship having another pdja major it's an honor for me to be able to td it and for the quad cities to host it is just spectacular it is a hotbed for disc golf it always has been you name it we've pretty much got to hear wooded courses open courses flat courses hilly courses we have legends here that's what we have these guys are the ones that open the door for a lot of the success that these guys are having today this is uh jay yeti redding played two different courses uh for the u.s tim zielinski masters championship uh here at devil's glenn and at camden park 2. devil's glenn is a special park to me i grew up just down the creek this place had nine holes originally and now it's a complete new redesign and 18 holes so uh somebody that's born and raised here i don't have a local advantage but it's really a nice course beautiful old school woods a little bit of creek a little bit of trouble risk reward it's a nice well-rounded course camden park over in milan illinois uh started out with an original course that was uh basically now called camden one that park actually has become a phenomenal partner for disc golf in fact uh camden 2 now is really considered one of the best wooded courses in the entire midwest quad cities had one single course in the 90s and that was a 12 holer over in rock island sure enough enough people that played we all found each other during a world's biggest event for disc golf and we formed the quad city disc golf club the great thing about having four cities right next to each other as soon as one city buys into something the next one wants to know how to can they do it as well and then fast forward uh 17 courses now around the quad city surrounding area and this is our third major that's been hosted here in the quad cities tim zielinski is a personal friend of mine uh we miss him dearly every single day that we play frisbee uh he was one of the ceos of innova champion discs out of california but what he really...
