welcome to continuing coverage of the 2022 pdga masters world championships from the greater peoria illinois area it's grant zellner and gary patton i'm really excited to see these players play the course today and some stronger wins this course isn't a permanent question area so it's always nice to see players attack it we're out at the infamous eureka lake temp course you've seen it as part of ledgestone coverage for several years running now and we're gonna see this mp40 group attack this infamous layout these guys earned their right to be part of the lead card today after a brutal day out at northwoods black so now comparatively speaking we are out in the open enjoying a little bit of the sunshine yeah it's a nice change of pace not to be trapped in the woods and up top we have a illinois local to the illinois iowa region alan wagner oh all right so we're going to get to see some local knowledge here in addition to your local local knowledge uh gary hold number one you've seen it before 633 feet apart three or excuse me a par four up and over the berm here the basket tucked way back there to the left takes i like to say roughly 300 feet at minimum to clear the water and the berm although if you want to bite off a little more you certainly can welcome to the 2022 pdga masters world championship this is our lead card for the mp40 division leading us off from montrose iowa alan wagner and first up here we have alan wagner uh looks like we have a head a little bit of a headwind maybe with a slight crosswind he's looking to really get the nose down and drive the shot over the spine there of the dam can't go too long to the right up and over the berm there is a road over there that is out of bounds it looks like he threw something nice and overstable hopefully that just clears the top it's looking like it might flirt with the ob but looks pretty good from saint thomas ontario martin hendell canada's martin hendell played very well yesterday in the close confines of northwood black i'm really uh interested in seeing how he plays this course based on the fact he did so well at...
