welcome to the 2022 masters disc golf world championships from peoria illinois brought to you by the pdga with coverage from ace run pro and thanks to gatekeeper media for supplying our graphics it's grant zellner and jennifer allen with fp40 coverage first round of what's going to be a very long week here we have some new fpo players joining us in the 40 division sarah holcomb holly finley and i believe stephanie vincent will also this is their first year playing fpo 40. making their master's debut almo has been here before yeah from la she is our previous masters fpo champion that's you jennifer allen i came in third elaine keane had an incredible uh final nine and snuck in and got me last year natalie hollokoe from switzerland she is a dynamic disc player that has been playing fps40 i think for a few years now she's an incredible player and from canada sandy hendell sandy is sponsored by prodigy disc we're here on hole number one 312 feet this is a par-3 with a lot of trees we want to try to stay right here in the middle aiming all the way down the fairway the basket does get tucked off to the right on a pretty dramatic slope this green is extremely quick off the tee or even on the putts you have to be very cautious on the ground is rough there's roots there's rocks and there's a lot of dirt down the hill from los angeles california no surprise to see owen lining up the forehand here catches the early tree but the good kick to the middle jennifer allen of gilbert arizona like i described in the whole preview i am just trying to stay in the middle i'm going with a mako three um the disc should finish to the right if i hit my line and i sneak right past that last one i'm going to be about two thirds of the way down the the fairway hollow of switzerland i asked natalie to pronounce her last name for me she pronounced it or something very close to that i did my best she usually will just tell people to say hello koi yeah that's what she told me as well yeah she gets a good roll out 1206 tea time sandy hindo of saint thomas canada canada got...
