joining us now is our co-leader in paige pearson right off the bat just the sound of that has to sound pretty good doesn't it making up for stroke deficit five actually five thank you yeah it was four after the first day and then i played solid day two and uh i still lost a stroke so i was like man five strokes but with two rounds of play i was hopeful i could make it up but i i would be lying if i said i thought i could do it in one round i mean it can happen out there in two holes but uh kristen is a very very consistent player she doesn't really find trouble too often so i knew i was gonna have to play lights out um but there were a couple holes that she took um like unforced errors on that i was able to capitalize and even get the birdie so there was i think three different times i got two strokes on one hole so it was fun battle back and forth i didn't check scores at all but i just knew like okay i chewed it she forward it back and forth so it was fun to kind of just stay on my toes you know well in what might not have been fun is how we started the day with the weather right we had rain up until hole six or seven and then you shoot a score today that is pretty similar to yesterday how do you deal with those conditions and still have a really good score yeah you know it's funny i woke up and alyssa tells me like today is going to be a great day like it's how you choose to think about it like and she even said like romanticize the rain you know people want to jump in puddles and kiss in the rain and run in the rain and it's all about your mindset so i told myself you know how true is that you know i spent three months in hawaii last off-season and uh every round i played was in the rain and i was having the best time my life with my hawaiian family you know and so i just kind of as i'm warming up i actually wasn't even drying off my putters i was just...
