welcome back it's round two coverage of the pdga amateur disc golf world championships from mesker park today i'm grant zellner of the pdga along with pabo substead of central coast disc golf i'm excited to be back grant i love woods golf yep we were at the ball golf course at the princeton country club yesterday an open course this course decidedly tighter shorter and it's going to test a different part of these players games it definitely is lots of tight tunnels here some interesting shaped holes a couple of par fives lots of par fours some ace runs on the back it'll be fun checking out the leaderboard now on the leaderboard today we've got paul kranz payton stamen ricky oviatt and chase steed let's learn a little bit more about each of these players my name is paul krams my pdj number is one three two five two one feel good my pup felt really good yesterday uh drives were surprisingly not that accurate but my putt made up for it a few outside circle two putts i think i made three 45 footers felt good out here you need to be hitting lines accurately and hitting your angles and and i mean it's wooded but it's short but you still have to hit your your distances properly as well shout out 978 and sunstein they helped me out for this tournament my name is peyton stamen i'm feeling great i've definitely worked really hard to get here i'm excited to be able to play on courses that are just a couple hours away from where i live in indianapolis and excited to see what today brings the first year i played amnaps i jumped 90 spots from day one to day three and then again a couple weeks ago at amnaps i jumped i think from 45th up to fourth so it's nice to be able to start with a good round and be able to continue having that energy i want to give shout outs to my two sponsors sky breed discs and discraft underground as well as my family parents and fiance ricky oviatt actually known as ricky bobby i feel great loving the positive vibes i've had all week you got to play with some locals that showed me some lines and really feel dialed in and ready to go i love...
