after 72 holes of play across what feels like most of southern indiana we've made it to the final round of the 2022 pdga amateur disc golf world championships grant zoner alongside pabo stubstead we deserve this and so do all of our viewers and so do the players one last round at the princeton country club i'm excited to see the players back at this more open ball golf style course particularly because several members on our card have quite the arm so we'll see some distance shots today paul krantz slept on a six-stroke lead over ilkan grow the two of them battled it out just a couple of weeks ago at the united states amateur championships matthew helms and zachary tassone rounding out our lead car matthew uh got there for the start of round three and has been playing very consistently we'll see if matthew can make her run today looking at hole number one now here at the princeton country club 341 feet over and out of bound area that doesn't really come into play unless you catch this tree here on the right and drop straight down into it the basket perched precariously on the edge of this hillside you want to access this basket from the right angle we'll see how our players do leading us out from dudley massachusetts representing disc golf 978 and sunstein paul kranz paul cran's stepping up to the box now lining up the forehand his game marked by what i like to call timely aggressiveness he knows when to lay up he knows when he wants to go for the birdie this likely a safer play he's definitely a smart player showing wisdom beyond his years they're playing the sidearm the slope of the hillside does favor that about 50 feet your united states amateur champion ilk and grow needs to make a run quickly today ilkim with the power to go for spike hyzers and those types of plays where most of the rest of the card can't we'll see what elkin decides to do here when going for the backhand play on this hole it is important to get at least pin high preferably play a little to the right or a little deep so you don't land on that down slope to the left of the pin he flips that up to flat looks...
