i'm sam dicarlo we're university of texas disc golf i've been on the team for three years and most of you guys are on the team for two weeks for freshman valentine for one this is carson toms luke allen kyle grimes and marco de leo my forehand is probably the best one right even probably putting luke and kyle throw like a country mile uh carson's game looks similar to mine also it feels great being here we're honestly not that surprised like we've bought ourselves pretty good this whole year um i mean obviously there's a bunch of great teams out here but uh we lost confidence coming in we don't we don't know where we're gonna sit but we're not surprised to be ranked number two right now i came from baseball i played baseball for 18 years and so moving to an individual sport like disc golf like a little bit scary being out there by yourself but having these five guys around me it's awesome like going out there take a bogey no big deal because you know carson or luke's getting a birdie i've gotten a ton of messages from just random pros in the austin area a bunch of random people have gone to ut being supportive which feels great i don't know what it'd be like living in any other town i've lived in austin my whole life i love it there but uh the disc golf very second to none i'm a senior this is my last year being here so there's not that many team formats left in my future so just trying to enjoy it hogan
