2022 College Disc Golf National Championships | DI - Team R3F9 | Northern Arizona, Appalachian State
The 2022 College Disc Golf National Championships bring together the top Division I men's teams for a thrilling competition at North Cove Disc Golf Club in Marion, North Carolina. Hayden Henry and Felix Vega of Ace Run Productions provide live coverage of the event, showcasing the challenging Boulders course. As the teams compete in doubles play, Northern Arizona University's Lumberjacks face off against Appalachian State University's Mountaineers, led by Connor Chris Tanner and Adam Weigel on one team, and Ben, Nicholas, and Jackson Palmer on the other. The PDGA Division I National Championships are the culmination of a season-long journey for over 120 schools, with only 54 teams earning invites to this prestigious event. The highlight reel captures the excitement of the singles play, as well as the unique tradition of individual player introductions, which celebrate the athletes' hard work and dedication. The coverage also delves into the rich history of the PDGA World Championships, held in Augusta, Georgia, in 2006, and the passion of disc golf legend Pete May.
