my name is sarah nicholson i'm the founder of throw p i've been following these girls queers for a while so i knew from the start it could be it's going to be close it's going to be anyone's game when i was looking at live scoring it was up and down up and down one person was pulling ahead whitney had a couple of stroke leads and rebecca came back but then you couldn't count out the girls from ferris state because they were moving up anyone could maybe win and then around hole 17 it got to the point where it was basically going to either be rebecca whitney or tiani whitney had a couple strictly going into hole 18 and when she stepped up on the tee she went out of bounds when he gets to the green she has a you know nice layup after her first drive so she keeps it low because you know that's what you do in the win and she hit the basket it drops and at that moment i knew like my heart because i was running it was just was like okay we're going into a playoff this is so exciting too i mean it's just as a women's sports fan it's sudden that playoffs starting at home until we have a winner rebecca went first she threw a great shot just hit the stump came up about 45 feet short had she not hit that stump she would have slid in she would have been parked when he's up next there was a shot parked like seven feet from the basket whitney just had in the bag but what i think is so awesome about women's disc golf is right before they teed off you know rebecca was you know she was a little nervous and whitney here's her competitor she's like we got this let's go you know it's go time and like that is just what this stuff's all about and especially women's golf and how we we we compete we want to win we're athletes we're competitors but it's also the camaraderie of we got this is go time you know and like that's you just don't see that i mean that's what's so special about college as well you
