oh we have our game plan and we stuck to our game plan which is what we said we needed to do our game plan is getting pars and if we get birdies we get birdies it's not being greedy and we're good enough me and renee we got our birdies where we needed to get our birdies to hold our lead the whole time which was amazing it was true partner golf i i could not have done it without renee i was so excited coming into this weekend i knew we could do it and we did do it and i'm so proud of us for persevering oh it means everything that we've been working for this for four years i mean we've been as a team for three two two or three but we knew we had it in us so it's like it's nice to see it all kind of come all together feels like redemption like last year we were ranked we ranked second coming into nationals last year and my team finished i think 25th or something like that and it felt so bad being ranked second and then all of a sudden we were finishing 25th so this year being ranked first coming in and then finishing first feels good yeah we did not get off to a good start but we battled the rest of the week showing why we're number one just like putting it together on the course because that's that's what we've done all year we were mostly just saying let's keep going like we got to keep playing like there's always more golf left so it was nice to kind of run it down and just keep pedal down so that's what we were going oh yeah i'll bring out what paul ulvari said i think it was just 100 commitment yeah it was literally the entire time even where we started off so slow we were playing bad missing putts and the entire time we're just like just keep pushing the entire time birdie birdie just next hole next shot that's all that matters so i threw a stable firebird i was like just keep it in the wind it'll be safe and then it turned perfectly and i parked it awesome this feels big it feels like we just won the major yeah like it's crazy
