foreign from indian hills disc golf course in columbia missouri it's the 2021 pdga tim zielinski u.s masters championships i'm grant zellner with your day two recap beginning with this morning's action on the mp60 lead card local lauren harris soon to be inducted into the missouri disc golf hall of fame remains on the lead card tied for second we caught up with lauren before his round i love this sport and when you care and love you know something in life you just put everything into it and that's what i've done at some point my career after you know not golfing i just wanted to switch it up and um be more of a coach a mentor be open to people to you know answer the questions that i wouldn't answer when i was on tour just because we're getting older that doesn't mean that we don't have that fire in our gut fighting cancer having both hips replaced lower back surgery but in my heart every time i had to go through a procedure i was ready to accept the fact that i might have to dial it back might not be able to do it again so i just feel blessed that i'm able to walk and still throw the disc and i played pretty well yesterday and this is to me this is my reward it's not even over yet but this is my reward for i don't know just trying to do good and be good and my phone has been going crazy and it's not even over but it's not about the tournament to me it's that people are staying connected to me for other things and the the joy that they're expressing with me i'm pretty sure it's because they know the fight and the struggle and they're they're they're amazed probably like i am that you know i'm i'm feeling good and just trying to stay focused laurent finished his round tied for second with eric rainey and greg hosefield one stroke behind bill rowe in first place in the mp50 division patrick brown retains his lead through two days of play in the fp40 division at indian hills disc golf course own scoggins struggles through an early round injury but retains a one-stroke lead over jennifer allen dez redding completes the lead card for the second day in a...
