the final nine of the final round of the 2021 south florida open presented by tri-fly disc golf brought to you here by the pdga with coverage by gatekeeper media grant zellner and jennifer allen on the mic as we close out the round here at markham park with a final 10 to be exact doing our best to crown a champion this afternoon thomas gilbert enters the final part of this round with a one-stroke lead over kevin kiefer and greg barsby silas schultz still in the mix our lead card is our lead foursome as we close out this round gonna start interesting start for sure it's this course is not a birdie or die so it's it's can you not bogey almost and to keep in there yeah our players really having to challenge themselves mentally to stay in the hunt here hole number 10 our first par 4 of the round 600 feet even through the chute and then out to the left to a well-guarded pin placement greg has the box that's a lot of distance with a low-lying uh ceiling gets lucky off the fence there just sort of rolls that disc right down that out of bounds fence up the right-hand side of this gap the poles wouldn't have been there maybe go a little further i know right silas would have cleared the fence but manages to ricochet off of a tree there back in bounds it's a fortunate break they're just trying to do everything they can to get out there um again that low-lying feeling with a very long hole like that i like throwing something flipped up um something understable that i can throw hard but let it carry a little bit further down takes a lot of trust with that ob on the right to flip something you can see there kevin may be thinking about that very thing and then nearly puts his pitch out through the one gap in the fence that would have put him out of bounds but he's safe that's one of those things you like oh my god i didn't see that until after either yeah i thought the same thing i would that's the kind of thing i might not even notice until my disc is in the air greg hoping for a lot more ground play off of that shot...
