let's get this thing started all right my name is sean sinclair i'm the event manager for the pdga and i want to welcome all of you to the 2021 pdga tim zielinski united states masters championship and if you would please rise and welcome roshara knight to sing our national anthem oh say can you see by the dawn's early light what so proudly we had the twilight's last gleaming who's brought stripes and bright stars through the perilous we watched were so gallantly streaming gave proof through the night that our flag was still there oh say does that start spangled bender yet wait the brain thank you all right if you would please welcome to the stage your city of columbia councilman carl scala well thank you thank you very much from from the city of columbia welcome and since the mayor can't be here he sends his regrets i'm his poor substitute to stand in his stead but on behalf of the city council and the city of columbia welcome to our fair city so i welcome the 2021 pdga tim zielinski u.s masters championships columbia missouri loves disc golf and on a personal note my son-in-law who used to live here is quite the addict he lives in florida now but when he comes to visit he always comes back to these these venues columbia's been running sanctioned professional disc golf tournaments since 1985 and in june 9 2016 a champion level disc golf course designed by renowned disc golf course designer john hawk was dedicated into the first hawk design course built in missouri when a bid was submitted by the columbia disc golf and columbia sports commission to host the majors the celinski was the number one choice and we are honored to host masters players with disc golf recently experienced an incredible amount of growth and popularity is with no doubt that there are future plans to grow disc golf in colombia and we absolutely plan to continue hosting big events here we like to think of colombia as a cool neighborhood in a big city with a young vibe an active buzz and an engaged community we hope you enjoy your time here and you come back again to experience all that we have to offer good luck to all and thank you for choosing colombia thank you all right this...
