masters worlds is professional disc golfers aged 40 and up a bunch of people who've been playing this sport for quite a while trying to beat each other trying to be the best some people might say uh that's where all the guys that can't hack it anymore go these guys can play the term masters applies so well i think people are going to be really surprised at the level of competition they're just thinking oh these are old folks but that's not true at all the reality is at this event we're going to see some great just calls when i came to the masters worlds i had this thought that oh i'm going to be playing guys that are older and i'll just walk away with it and i got my butt kicked the first time world championships in any sport you know is a big deal they're coming here with a purpose it's to win a world championships there's world titles at stake bragging rights honors every age division there's fierce competition for that title everybody's coming here to win they're not treating it like oh well we're age protected the level competition is going to be outstanding yeah we've got some really great competitors out here to see the players who started in their 20s say growing with the sport showing what skill you can have also kind of a celebration of the people who started this sport many years ago masters worlds represents the people who created the sport double digit pdj numbers triple digits among that elite group of people you will see the people who made disc golf what it is they're the people who put in the courses they're the people who organize tournaments watch some of these people that are the legends of the sport that you know built this sport to where it is are still winning world championships it's interesting seeing the legends because you get to see what they were good at these are the pioneers of the sport those people who created the sport who propagated the sport and laid the foundation for the sport to be what we see it today this year's courses at the world championships are the cleanest i've seen as a masters world championship so far the courses are pristine i think there's some great holes these courses are a little...
