welcome everybody to our coverage of the 2021 pdga amateur disc golf world championships in orlando florida powered by dynamic discs and latitude 64. you are watching ma1 lead card round six front nine coverage brought to you by us here at bdub pro today's commentary will be provided by myself cameron mckilling and my good friend grant zellner of the pdga do and just so everyone knows the drone flyovers here at t2 are courtesy of anthony rising who is our tcam operator right now for this coverage hole one 480 foot par four uh you can see it's nice and open off the t-pad then you have a very tight fairway after that this hole i don't want to say it's a bonus birdie but it's close if you if you get a bird on this hole number one to start your round number two you're probably picking up a stroke on at least half your card so these guys anxious to get after it robert just just perfect great drive did that skip off the other tea pad it looked like it did you're not gonna get a lot of skips like that on this course with this uh sandy soil everywhere so he got one there evan makes that initial gap and he's over by this uh super pure gazebo pavilion whatever you want to call it over here tucked in to the left aiden scott low and hard does manage to bunch out to bounce out into the open though so he'll have a stance and this is an interesting play trying to go up and over yeah michael messersmith going up and over a play that i wouldn't recommend unless you're playing with a number of people that can help you look for your disc or a camera or a guy out there spotting for you weight tree was just trying to move his way up the fairway on that one so that's not going to hurt too much he's playing for par anyway evan trying to hit another gap he's definitely looking to make it all the way up to the basket from here a little inside for missed that one you know what a strength of evan's game is hitting gaps with a backhand so uh another strength of this game is having a short memory so we'll see here's this round...
